OEX La Jolla and OEX Oceanside are full-service, Five Star PADI Dive Centers, offering scuba classes, sales, rentals, and scuba tours since 1995. At OEX La Jolla, our guides and staff specialize in guided shore dives of La Jolla's Ecological Reserve. La Jolla is well-known for its world-class shore diving and OEX is known for its expertise in guided divers around it. La Jolla's Ecological Reserve is a 600+ acre area established in the early 1970's, there is no fishing or hunting allowed, and the fish seem to know it! In North County San Diego, OEX Oceanside has found several great shore dives and has professional guides to show you the best shore diving that North County has to offer.

Both locations offer PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, and Divemaster courses. Also offered are numerous PADI Specialty classes, including Underwater Photography, Enriched Air Nitrox, Wreck Diving, and Night Diving, to name just a few. Our beginning Open Water Scuba courses can be completed in four days and the Advanced Open Water in two. Our PADI scuba instructors pride themselves on patience and our knowledge of scuba diving. Total beginners are welcome and encouraged!

A third scuba location, in Quivira Basin, is a PADI resort shop and offers scuba rentals, air fills, Nitrox and sells "soft goods" for scuba diving.
